The Committee Health and Human Resources moved to amend the bill on page 4, section 11, line 90, by striking subdivision (6) in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof a new subdivision (6) to read as follows:

“(6) Assess, charge and collect fees for services provided by the local health department.  The local health department may collect fees by billing a health care payor which may include Medicaid, a Medicaid Managed Care Organization and the Public Employers Insurance Agency for medical services provided and the amount of such fees are not subject to commissioner approval and may be at the maximum allowable rate.”
